I have been chastized for my poor blogging.  I'm sorry!  I'm sorry!

What can I say, it gets busy around here :)

This summer has been a tad frustrating.  The weather has been a little cool, kids have been sick, and stress levels are high.  On the other hand, there has been no end to activities for the kids to do and somehow my house is staying clean (mostly)...

Charlie is amazing (but I am biased).  He is talking more and more everyday - and he has so many quirks and goofy idiosyncracies that entertain us.  He has taken to Haley, and he can even SAY Haley.  Anna called her "Al-E-ya" until she turned two.  It was so cute, I'm kind of sad to hear "Hayyyyy-Ye" instead.  Charlie is a trucks and car kind of baby, aside from adoring his sisters, he is easily entertained by pushing cars, waving at cars, saying buh bye to busses and bonking his head (intentionally) against things and laughing about it.  Yep, he's a boy.  I don't want to admit it, but I am starting to wish he wasn't getting so close to his first birthday....

Cole, poor kid, has spent the last two days with a high fever.  This morning he spiked to 104.5 F and when I tried to get tylenol into him he nearly vomitted at 1/2 the dose.  Fun times.  We got the second half dose into him two hours later.  I peaked in his throat and saw the definate "strep throat" kinda mess.  I had one of the worst doctors visits ever (the office and staff were wonderful, the youngest two children and ME were all over tired, hungry, miserable, and I couldn't do anything about the wait).  Note to self, even if you just fed them - bring snacks to doctor's office!

I think life would be easier if mom's could be given a "strep throat diagnosis certification".  In my family, swollen glands and horrid pus and sky high fevers make it pretty hard to miss.... but now I will probably have to attend 4 or 5 more doctor's visits in the next 7 days to get everyone else who catches it diagnosed...
